Sainte Anne Cemetery
Danville,
Richmond County, Quebec
Location: Lat: 45° 47' 05"N, Long: 71° 59' 35"W
The town of Danville is located just off route 116 between Richmond and Victoriaville. From Richmond, follow route 116 North for about 18km. At the first light on route 116, turn right into Danville. You will see Sainte Anne Church on your right. Turn into the churchyard as the cemetery is right in back of the church.
Notes: This catholic Cemetery was established about 1865 when the church was founded. It is maintained by the church and is fenced with several gates. It has a large parking area. There are quite a few English catholics buried here and many of them were born in Ireland. The majority of those interred here are French Catholics.
We recorded this cemetery on three separate visits in Aug and Sep of 2006 and made a complete recording of all legible tombstones.
