Barnston, Stanstead County, Quebec
Location: From the town of Barnston take Route 141 East toward Ayer's Cliff. Take the first left which is Madore Road. Then take the first left on this road which is a cul de sac named Martineau Road. The cemetery is opposite a farmhouse and near the road.
This old cemetery is the final resting place of the some of the area's earliest settlers. The stones have been removed from their original plots and placed in a cement base in a rectangular fashion. There is little upkeep needed as a result of this.
Susan Nutbrown and I read this cemetery on Sep 08, 2007 and recorded all monuments.
