Bishopton, once known as Bishop's Crossing, is located at the extreme eastern section of the old Compton County (now called Le Haut St. Francois).  From Route 112 North, take Route 255 East about 2 miles. The cemetery is in the center of town but hard to find as it is in the back of a private dwelling. Watch for it on the right hand side before you get to the Saint Francis River Bridge, behind property #96 on Main St. (rue Principale). There are only 8 headstones. The cemetery has a nice fence and gate. I last visited this cemetery in November 2015, and transcribed & photographed the tombstones.
