1930 Census Index
This index for the 1930 Kalkaska County Michigan census contains the name of the person, their age, the enumeration district, the township, and the page number that they appear on. In cases where children are age six months or younger, their age is listed as “0”; 7 months and older their age is listed as “1”. The accurate ages are listed on the actual census image. There were a few surnames that were unreadable on the census and therefore are not included in this index.
The Kalkaska Genealogical Society regrets it is unable to do census research due to volunteer and time constraints, however, the index can be a useful tool in locating an ancestor. The actual census can be viewed at the Kalkaska County Public Library in Kalkaska, Michigan, or at most large libraries, Family History Centers or with a subscription to Ancestry.
